England route to Euro 2024 final: How the Three Lions could win tournament this summer

Three Lions among favourites to win European Championships

England are set to embark for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Gareth Southgate has vowed not to “underestimate” his opponents in the group stage but admitted the Three Lions avoided some of the more dangerous names in the lower pots.

All of Croatia, Italy and the Netherlands landed in other groups, with England scheduled to play Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia.

While the tag as favourites for the tournament in Germany will mean little if Southgate’s side do not impress on the field, it seems reasonable to imagine England at least getting to the knockout stages as group winners.

The Three Lions coach is taking a young team to the finals, leaving the likes of Jack Grealish and James Maddison at home. Harry Maguire, meanwhile, misses out due to injury.

With that in mind, here’s a look at their potential route to the final, based on them winning their group.
